Hello again my darling peeps,

Last night we decided to hit the strip, various casinos and the odd bar that took our fancy and a fun gay bar with boy gogo dancers hehehe too funny.

Las Vegas is one crazy place man, you can get lost in the casinos, some are more spectacular than others, however we took our chances and checked a few of them out without too much trouble.

They still let humans smoke in Vegas in the Casinos, restaurants & bars, crazy I tell you, don’t they know finger puppets lungs aren’t that big, we had to take regular trips outside for fresh air.

After getting some fresh air, we decided to get some gambling action going….. first we tried the giant slot machines, hell we didn’t win, then we gave the black jack table a crack and then again, no freaking joy, we could only take a few snaps as apparently casino employees are not allowed to be photographed, we nearly got the camera confiscated, crikey our photo action shots would have been lost forever, that would of been tragic.

Anyhow a fun night was had well that was until Syd had a little accident, Syd lost his FORKED TONGUE!

Needless to say he didn’t have too much to say after that, we are going to have to get him a little prosthetic tongue made up so unfortunately he didn’t want anymore photos taken of him, I suppose you can understand a major appendage missing would have something to do with that, GOD he is so vain.

Anyhow peeps we have had a fantastic time travelling in the USA, met some lovely people and of course made some new fellow finger puppet friends which we hope to stay in contact with.

We are heading back to the Sydney, Australia, so with that in mind, continue to watch this space for the next instalment of Syd & Charissmas crazy fingerpuppet capers.

Last human friend made in Vegas

Well hello again fellow peeps, recently made finger puppet friends and ardent followers,

Today we headed off to Viva Las Vegas, comon now sing it like Elvis did yeah baby.

The journey from Tuscon to Las Vegas took us all in all 6 hours of hard core driving, done none other than the fabulous Matty, the scenery along the way was spectacular to say the least, as you can see it is very mountainous and we even drove a little way along the famous Route 66, woo hoo, history baby history.

We even stopped a moment at the Hover Dam, damn is that dam big!

Well hello Vegas, we just arrived, what a sight for sore eyes, mind you it’s pretty spectacular at night.

The bloody camera died so no day shots of us arriving in Vegas boo hoo oh well we will charge her up and hit the strip after we check in.

Well we checked into our room, not bad but you wouldn’t believe it, the tv in our room wasn’t working, how freaking rude, I mean a finger puppet has got to be able to wind down after an eventful road trip now crikey. After several calls to housekeeping, we finally got it fixed so we could watch some pov tv before we set out to hit the strip.

Yo you peeps,

Well us puppets made it to Tuscon in flying form, it was almost a near death experience with the size of a plane, geez louise you could hardly stand up without hitting your head and by puppet standards it was a mean feat hahaha.

Anyhow met up with some fellow Sydney humans, unfortunately we just missed the “Dias De Los Muertos” Mexican Halloween parade, day of the dead but we did manage to get out and hit some bars.  Boy it was sure a busy night by Sunday standards.

The next couple of days we thought we’d take in some of Tuscon, Arizona’s nature type sights, such amazing sights to be seen but ones you have to be careful of.  By that I mean those jumping cactus call ‘cholla’ prickly bastards, oh yeah and we also saw our first snow fall oooooo pretty

Last night we went to Pinnacle Peak, wild old west themed restaurant and lo and behold we ran into more freaky puppets, man did we run wild yet again.

Tomorrow we are off to Las Vegas yeah baby yeah we can’t wait to hit those casino’s and see ELVIS.

Hello again to all our adoring peeps and fans alike.

Well the finger puppets experienced some freaky Friday madness that’s for sure.

We met our host Jackie and we hit some bars in the Financial District. Our first port of call was at the Cosmopolitan Bar and it was HAPPY HOUR woo hoo bring on the goon.

Met some funny humans. Even one with fingerless gloves, perfect for finger puppets hahaha lol.

We then moved onto The Americano bar, bit of a meat market but we met some even crazier people, yeah a very vivacious Nina, the life of the party.

Our last port of call was the Cuban Cigar Bar, man that was freaky, I know some special humans that would of loved that bar, Rebecca, Rachel, you know who you are. They had a cuban band going, salsa dancing and people outside smoking cuban cigars and of course we were at the bar making fools of ourselves yet again.

Syd almost lost his life it was scary, trying to be the life of the party as per usual he fell off a beer tap and into the bin, I was hysterical of course trying to find him and get him out, it was pretty touch and go there for a while needless to say after that little altercation it was totally home time and so off to home we went.

Ahhh such a sweet night.

Hello again our adoring peeps.

Well last night was our last night in San Fransisco, I know very sad but we chose to celebrate this by going out to a posh restaurant for a very tasty dinner.

To our suprise, you wouldn’t believe it peeps but we met some other fingerpuppets, and OMG did we go crazy.

The very posh restaurant we went to had no idea what they were installed for but I can’t stress enough just how much joy us fingerpuppets seem to spread when we go out. Humans just come alive and of course the papparazzi go crazy.

Syd of course drank more than his fair share of drinks, he even fell off the wagon and into the bottom of the glass, oh well he never learns but hay your a long time dead so why the heck not.

Now for a serious note, it’s our last day today in San Fran and of course we have had a brilliant time, met some nice people and it’s sad to leave but we are now off to Tuscon, Arizona and making our way down to Viva Las Vegas.

Well hello there peeps……

The day of the election results were to unfold, us puppets decided we had better do some sight seeing of sunny ol San Fran, we can’t just drink our little plastic bodies to death now can we, we have to make it to Tuscon, Arizona then for our road trip to Viva Las Vegas, God I hope we get to meet Elvis!

Well so here we go, we thought best way to get around was one of those hop on hop off double decker buses, man it was FREEZING, the tour guide would not let us stand up to take photos so unfortunately there aren’t any photos of us on the bus as we would of blown right off it was that bloody windy, anyhow we saw some cool sights.

Then it was time for a few bruskis HELL YEAH!

Met the lovelly Sheila and Ayelet at the very posh St Regis Hotel for some very tasty cocktails, I had an original cosmo and Charissma had a long island ice tea, she wanted to get tanked yeah bring it onnnn.

When our other guest Jax arrived we headed over to Jillians (big bar with even BIGGER tv screens) to watch the events of the election unfold.

It was kinda wierd, it’s like being back home watching a football grand final with all the cheering and hollaring, clapping and booing. But nonetheless it was awesome to be in America for this historical event of the first black President being elected.

We were all going for Obama.

Anyhow we are having a couple of days of R&R, we have gots to get ready for Arizona, it’s going to be crazy man I tell you and lots of shenannigans will be had.

Harry's local DJ championships

Hello hello, the crazy fingerpuppets from Sydney, Australia have decided to go on tour of America.

Our first port of call was the amazing New York City. Boy did we have a great time but my God it was freezing.

We met some crazy people who were only too happy to have a drink with us, our favourite outing was a cool jazz club, too many drinks were had to remember the name, it had mamma in it just down the road from Times Square.

We are currently now in San Fransisco and we are catching up on some sleep and doing things a bit more in time with taking it easy.

Saturday night we went to a couple of bars, met some crazy San Fransiscans who wanted to play with us, we even helped a DJ out with some tracks before we caught a most eventful cab ride home.

Sunday we went a travelling up to wine country in Sonoma, hit some nice wineries and even had a romantic lunch at a cute little restaurant called “The Girl and The Fig” mmmmmm very nice.

Today we are going to hit the shops, wonder what bargains we can snap up today.
